Dr Carr is a graduate of the University Of Windsor, receiving his B.Sc. with honors in 1978, his B.Ed. in 1979, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from McGill University in 1983. His education continued at Montreal General Hospital where he gained valuable experience in both the operating room and emergency departments.

Since initiating his practice in Chatham in 1983, Dr. Carr has been involved in many Professional Development and Continuing Education programs. He is a Graduate of London’s Mini Residency program in Implant Restorative Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. He has been doing implant and cosmetic dentistry for 26 years. Dr. Carr has been providing Dental Surgery Services and has been on staff at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for 29 years.

Dr. Carr is a past member of the Toronto Implant Institute, and past President of the McGill Dental Society. He is also a past President of the Kent County Dental Society, and Chair of the St. Clair College Dental Hygiene Advisory Board.

Dr. Carr is currently the Chair of the Ontario Dental Association Mediations Committee, where he has served for the past 5 years.

Dr. Carr is married and has two sons and a daughter. His interests include golf, gardening, cottage life in Muskoka, and traveling with his family whenever they have the chance. He is also involved in supporting many charitable organizations and he serves on his local church Board of Elders.
